The Autism Council of Rochester provides high quality, individualized community integration services and support to youth with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.

Raising a child with Autism or an Autism Spectrum Disorder has challenges. The Autism Council of Rochester offers help and hope to individuals and families whose lives have been affected by the disorder. With a person-centered approach to community integration, it helps children and young adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder reach their full potential and live as independently as possible. The organization support programs and services are tailored to each person’s specific needs.

The world can be a scary place. To a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, the world is extremely complex and overwhelming. Children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder try desperately to communicate their needs and to make sense out of their world. The Autism Council helps families put the pieces together to create a future of possibilities. The agency was formed in 2007, and provides services and supports to children, young adults with Autism and their caregivers and families in Monroe and surrounding counties. The Autism Council of Rochester supports families and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders in Monroe County and surrounding counties.
